The application is quick and easy, taking just 5 minutes to complete, with no need for accounting details or other complex information.

The first step in the certification process is to complete the pre-assessment application form on our website. This form asks for basic information about your business, including your ABN and the percentage of Australian ownership. Once the application has been submitted, successful candidates will be offered the opportunity to proceed to the next stage.

Step 1: Pre-Assessment Application

After submitting your pre-assessment application, eligible businesses will receive our current partnership package options. Once you've chosen the package that best suits your needs, you'll be directed to a secure payment page where you can complete your payment online or choose to receive an invoice.

Step 2: Partnership Packages

Our compliance team will review your application and conduct a thorough check to ensure that your business meets our certification requirements. This step does not require site visits. Instead, our team uses corporate and government databases, as well as other methods, to complete the due diligence of each application. While we may occasionally need to reach out via phone or email to clarify certain details, we take great pride in ensuring that our application process is minimally disruptive.

Step 3: Compliance Check

Upon successful completion of all necessary checks, you will be notified of your approval for certification. You will then receive an official certificate along with a licence to use the Australian Owned™ logo, unique to your business and containing your licence number. This certification is valid for one year and must be renewed annually.

Step 4: Certification

Our team manages the annual renewal process, which involves a thorough review of the information provided in the previous year's application. Once we have completed our review, we send a renewal report to the business for verification to ensure all information is correct and accurate. If updates are necessary, we will work with the business to make any required changes, allowing us to renew the licence only after all necessary checks have been completed. This ensures a seamless and thorough process with minimal disruption to the business.
